 PASTOR BIO

 

       Fred Webster was born in Fort Worth, Texas.  He moved to Huntsville when he was three months old as his father went to work at a new federal agency called NASA.  When he was three, his family moved to Arab, Alabama, where he grew up--with the exception of four years the family lived in Houston, Texas, during the Apollo Space Program.

 
     He graduated from Arab High School in 1973.  In 1977, Fred graduated with a B.S Degree in History from Birmingham Southern College.  From there he went on to attend Perkins School of Technology at SMU and complete his degree in 1981.
 
     Fred began serving the North Alabama Conference in June 1981, and he has served churches all over the Conference.
 
     He is married to Reverend Dorothy Ann Jones Webster, and they have two sons.  Tom is a senior at Birmingham Southern College, and Matt is a freshman there.
 
     Reverend Fred's hobbies include fishing, bird watching, collecting antiques, and watching baseball.
